FREE Shipping on orders $49 and up.
Due to increased demand, orders will ship in 5-7 business days. Orders placed on Friday after 3pm, Saturday, or Sunday are processed on Monday. Processing and shipping does not take place on weekends or holidays.
Within the continental United States (the contiguous 48 states), Shipping is FREE to customers on orders over $49. Orders being shipped to Hawaii, Alaska, Canada, APO's, FPO's and DPO's are not eligible for free shipping. Also, the free shipping policy does not apply to large or heavy items that require special shipping methods such as assembled industrial sewing machines and some sewing cabinets.
Despite unprecedented challenges posed by COVID-19, SewingMachinesPlus.com is very much open for business. Our supply chain is still delivering product with only a few factories that have closed. This means we will continue to receive the sewing products you need and ship them to you as fast as we can. During these unsettling times, we are only experiencing 5 to 7 day delays in shipping. We ask that our customers have patience during the pandemic and allow our employees to get their orders processed and shipped as soon as possible.

In response to the virus, we’ve implemented updated best practices in our workplace to help ensure the health and safety of our employees and customers.
In accordance with California’s recent statewide stay-at-home order, most employees in our Escondido headquarters are now working from home. We have limited staff in our warehouses to ensure fulfilment and delivery of customer orders with minimal interruption, especially those relying on SewingMachinesPlus.com to deliver crucial sewing machines to help make face masks that are in such high demand. Our employees adhere to recommended hygiene and social distancing practices, and we’ve increased janitorial best practices to insure our employees have a clean and healthy work environment. This is to ensure customer orders are picked, packed and shipped by healthy employees. Once a package leaves our warehouse, it’s entrusted to one of our shipping partners. A large percentage of these orders are delivered via FedEx or the US Postal Service, both of which are taking steps to ensure the health of their employees and safe parcel deliveries.
With the current Pandemic across America, there has been a massive rush on sewing machines and related products across the nation. I don’t think any sewing machine company was prepared to handle this rush. This is a great thing for the employees at SewingMachinesPlus.com because we can continue to keep our staff working. The bad thing is that we are still understaffed because of the stay at home order. About 80% of our staff is working from home so we have limited resources at our corporate office and warehouse. Because of the stay at home order across the nation, more people are home and sewing face masks. We have a very good supply of inventory on hand and are shipping 100’s of orders out daily. We do have a backlog of orders waiting to be processed. We ask that everyone be patient with us as we get orders processed. Once your order is processed it will be shipped and once it’s shipped you will be updated with a tracking number. As you can imagine with these many orders coming into our system, we have 1000’s of emails from customers expecting a tracking number the same day. Usually, this is the norm but with all the orders coming in at one time our system is backed up. We are committed to serving our sewing customers as we have for over 40 years with a wide selection of products, fast shipping, and great customer service.
Our retail stores have taken precautions to ensure the health and safety of our customers and employees. We have reduced our store hours to 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Saturday and are only limiting 2 customers in the store at a time. We are still offering curb side pick-up, free shipping and free no contact delivery within a 40-mile radius of our stores. Our retail employees are also adhering to recommended hygiene and social distancing practices, and we’ve increased janitorial best practices to insure our employees and customers have a clean, healthy store environment.
