Becky Thompson learned her passion for stitching from her mother who was an amazing garment seamstress, so she's been around sewing machines throughout her life. Throughout Becky's 20 year career in the US Air Force and 17 years as a federal civilian, she learned to become very comfortable with technology and loves to combine that knowledge with her quilting and machine embroidery. Power Tools With Thread is truly a family business with her husband Keith, also an Air Force retiree, making custom hand crafted seam ripper and stiletto combos that he turns on a lathe in his shop. Becky loves to see the revival of the sewing industry as an opportunity to have fun while creating quality projects to enjoy and share with others.

Jane Clauss

Jane Monzures Clauss is a 3-time EMMY Award winning television host of Creative Living on the Yurview Network and a long-time radio personality most recently gracing the airwaves as the co-host of The Steve Cochran Show on WLS 890AM. Jane is also the producer and host of Craft Room Crash and is a featured correspondent on CBS 2 Chicago. Jane can also be heard on her popular Creative Living podcast.
Jane contributes her sewing and embroidery projects as a BROTHER Sews Ambassador. She is a do-it-yourself maker with contagious enthusiasm, a rip-it-apart and remake-it sense of humor, and a more is more and less is a bore attitude! All on the rocks with a twist and olive!
She also adds her artistic talents as a DIY features expert on television programs including NBC’s TODAY Show, FOX Good Day Chicago, Lifestyle Today, The List, ABC’s Windy City Live, FOX 17 Morning Mix, NOLA Now, Houston Life, We Are Austin, Peachtree TV Atlanta and so many more morning shows across the country.

Joanne Banko

A graduate of Progressive Fashion School formerly located in Cleveland Ohio, Joanne Banko is an author, freelance sewing educator, and self-proclaimed sewing cheerleader!
As a Brother Ambassador Joanne contributes regularly to the official Brother blog, Stitching Sewcial. Guest instructor on the popular PBS It’s Sew Easy TV show, and author of the book Wrapped in Embroidery, Joanne enjoys designing projects to help sewing and embroidery enthusiasts make the most of their machines.
